De-Matting Combs work to get the underneath tough knots out, while avoiding the hard, and sometimes painful task at pulling on knots.  Getting out knots should not be painful, and it should not require constantly pulling on dogs hair, or feeling stuck, only to cut it out! 
Andis Steel Pet Comb

Steel Pet Combs also are a big help in not only removing knots, but preventing them. This type of comb can help remove debris, loose hair, and also helps stimulate your dogs hair follicles. 
Tuffer Than Tangles Slicker Brush

Slicker Brushes help break up a thick coat and help to give your dog their super full and plush looking coat, and keeps their hair soft. The Tuffer than Tangles brush is the Brush that was recommended to us by our groomer, and that we have used since. We usually use the "Regular Pin" however, if your dogs coat is longer, you can go with the "Long Pin" brush.
