Puppy Head Start

Picture

Our goal with the
Puppy Head Start Training Program
is to give your puppy the best possible start in life!

Picture
Studies have shown that the personality of your puppy is determined by what he experiences in the first 16 weeks of his life. As your breeder, we have laid an excellent foundation with the temperament of the parents, and the care and experiences we have exposed your puppy to during the first 8 weeks of his life. Now it’s time to hit the ground running with training!

Socialization is the keystone for a happy, well-rounded puppy. Your puppy will be challenged by many new things during Puppy Head Start ~ exposure to children; handicapped adults; car rides; music; noise; traffic; cats; horses, etc. During the three week training period, your puppy will learn his name. He will learn to sit for attention as well as to sit for his leash and bowl. He will learn not to jump up, or use his teeth. He will learn to chew on appropriate items. He will learn the requests ‘sit,’ ‘lie down’ and ‘get on your blanket.’ He will learn to come when called. He will learn to walk on a leash without pulling. He will learn to sleep through the night in his kennel. And, most importantly, he will be almost completely house-broken when he comes ‘home!’

Your puppy is trained in my home with positive reinforcement and love! You can look forward to weekly e-mail updates regarding training which include training photos. I also e-mail short training videos so you can watch your puppy learn. You can keep these videos and refer to them to get the same desired response from your puppy.

Puppy Head Start takes a limited number of puppies. The program fills quickly. The cost is $550.00 per week for loving training, room and board which is less than many boarding facilities charge for just boarding.  To reserve a spot for your puppy, please complete the following reservation form:

We look forward to giving your puppy a Head Start!
